The Indefatigable Africa: Get to know Africa and the African by Grace Mongi-Clifton
Realtime Price: ERR
African people, when looking at their lot often wonder, ‘what is the cause of their suffering?’
For those who have gone to school and studied the history of the world and their progress in our world, even looking at maps of many countries of the world, reading of the progress and contribution these tribes of the world have made, their constant question among themselves is; “Where did I go wrong?”
“Who Am I and why am I so unique? “
“Why do people look down on me and mine and where do I really come from?”
Children look with longing in their eyes at their counterparts who are well fed, and very modern in their appearance and due to their dire need and want, get no answers.
They at the same time look at their leaders who walk boisterously, their children and family seemingly from another era, certainly not the one they are struggling in for they are unable to fathom such a huge discrepancy.
Now comes the million dollar question: is there any redemption for the African citizen of tomorrow?
Did the African of yesterday, do anything that will make the future citizen proud to be his offspring?
Is the disgruntled, dissatisfied Africa willing to move from her lackadaisical state of acceptance and decide that the time has come to put her house in order for the good Africa of tomorrow in order to give him a fair start in life on the world stage.
