Ask yourself this, what would you do if you woke up one day tied to a mystical alter, about to be sacrificed by insane cultists?

More, what would you do if the ceremonial dagger plunged into your heart, you felt all life drain away into utter nothingness… and you survived?

When it happens to Gwen Farris, she knows what to do without a doubt. Find the would be killers and stop them, before they can do it again. Stabbing a girl in the heart can be taken a little personally after all.

The only problem is that she finds herself in a different world, one of industrial magic and steampunk style, a place both more polite, and unimaginably harsh, than the one she left behind.

Thanks to her new friend, Constabulary Detective Bethany Westmorland, Gwen just might be able to make it in this strange place she’d never even dreamed could exist.

But it will take everything she can bring to play, and more, before it’s done.
